Semblage

Semblage is open source CAD software which seeks to blend the mouse-driven and programmatic CAD worlds. It is decidedly a mouse-first user experience with the power of programmatic CAD (aka CodeCAD) being kept in the background unless the user wants it. CodeCAD has numerous advantages, including allowing a user to capture design intent more effectively. Another advantage is that automated design checks can be done in ways that are difficult or impossible with traditional CAD. However, CodeCAD can also be difficult to work with, especially for non-coders. That is where Semblage comes in.
